America’s Got Talent Season 18 contestant Putri Ariani took to Instagram on Thursday to thank fans for voting her into the Finals this week. The 17-year-old singer earned a Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell earlier in the season and went on to deliver a beautiful performance in the live shows.
Putri Ariani Thanks AGT Fans for Voting Her Through
During Tuesday’s performance show, Putri performed a stunning cover of “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” by U2, earning a standing ovation from the panel. On Wednesday’s results show, it was revealed that America voted her into the Finals, alongside Mzansi Youth Choir.
On Thursday, Putri posted a video thanking her fans for voting her through, saying they brought her “one step closer to reaching my dream.” She also thanked her home country of Indonesia for supporting her on this journey. The singer previously won Indonesia’s Got Talent when she was 8 years old.

Putri Earned Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer
In her audition for AGT Season 18, Putri told the judges that it was her first time in America. She shared that she’s been singing “since I was born.” Putri also revealed her dream to study at Juilliard and win a Grammy.
Putri sat down at the piano to perform her original song “Loneliness.” When she was done singing, Cowell jumped on stage to talk to her and her father. He asked Putri to sing a second song, so she went on to perform “Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word” by Elton John.
Cowell was so impressed by Putri’s talent that he decided to hit the Golden Buzzer for her. This gesture sent her straight to the live shows. Thanks to America’s votes, Putri is now headed to the Season 18 Finals.
