Netflix is not moving forward with “Ember,” a hand-drawn animated film from director Sergio Pablos. It’s the latest animated title at the streamer to get the axe, following executive producer Ava DuVernay’s “Wings of Fire,” the toddler-friendly “Antiracist Baby” and “With Kind Regards From Kindergarten” earlier this year.
Even though starting a family is a pretty serious thing, some brave people decide to adopt children. “When you live with other people, there are good and bad days,” says Miriam, a teacher from Argentina who decided to become an adoptive mother and opened a blog in which she writes about the ups and downs she goes through. Like in a book, she tells her story and that of her student, who needed a mother and found a family.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has a message for Manny Pacquiao and everyone who’s against him.
“Nineteen years in the fight game and I’ve had one excuse: Don’t have an excuse,” said the boxer, who was booed by a large section of the MGM Grand crowd on Saturday after defeating Philippines’ champion Manny Pacquiao on points. “Winners win and losers have excuses.”
Even though Mayweather extended his unbeaten record to 48-0 in the “Fight of the Century,” he is far from a popular man, and crowd favorite Pacquiao said after the bout that he didn’t agree with the judge’s unanimous decision and thought he had beaten the American.
