America’s Got Talent: All-Stars has shared an early release performance from Monday’s new Finals episode, featuring 13-year-old ventriloquist Ana-Maria Mărgean. She wows with a performance of “I Put a Spell on You,” featuring a new puppet friend.
Ana-Maria Mărgean Performs in AGT: All-Stars Early Release
Ana-Maria started her Finals performance by introducing everyone to her vocal coach Mrs. Know-It-All, who’s “always here to give me advice and encouragement.” The young ventriloquist then launched into a soulful performance of “I Put a Spell on You.”
Mrs. Know-It-All disapproved of Ana-Maria’s rendition of the song, telling her to “sing it from your heart.” She then demonstrated how it should be done. It’s easy to forget that Ana-Maria is the one singing, because her mouth doesn’t seem to move at all.
The pair finished the performance by singing a duet of the song, switching back and forth between both of their voices as confetti rained down. The Romania’s Got Talent winner earned a standing ovation from the judges and audience for the incredible performance.

What Did the Judges Think of Ana-Maria’s Performance?
“It was flawless. It was absolutely flawless,” judge Heidi Klum told Ana-Maria of her performance. “And you did it even without moving your lips. I think you’re absolutely incredible.”
Klum asked how Ana-Maria felt about going farther in the competition than former AGT winner Terry Fator. Ana-Maria said she “still can’t believe it,” adding, “I got to compete with the person I admire most, and I just want to make him proud.”
Howie Mandel described Ana-Maria as “if Ariana Grande was Romanian and 14 years old with a puppet.” He added that she’s “exactly what an all-star is.” Simon Cowell said the performance “just got better and better and better.”
The AGT: All-Stars Finals performances will air on Monday night at 8/7c on NBC. Who are you rooting for? Let us know in the comments below.
