Alexa Performs Her Hit Songs at iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball Event
AleXa kicked off her run of Jingle Ball performances on November 28 at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. As a Tulsa native who grew up in the Dallas area, it was a special homecoming show for the star.
“Originally, we’re from Tulsa, Oklahoma, but when I moved to Korea back in 2018, they moved to Dallas for my dad’s work.” AleXa told local news station WFAA in an interview before the show.
The singer said she was most excited to perform her new music in front of her family, who she doesn’t get to see often since moving overseas to pursue her K-pop career. Hits like “Wonderland” and “Sick” had the crowd on their feet as AleXa unleashed her trademark powerful vocals and intricate choreography.
AleXa made history as the first Korean solo artist to perform on the Jingle Ball Tour, which has previously featured K-pop groups like Monsta X.
“I remember watching Jingle Ball when I was a kid on the TV with my family,” she said. “Actually being here in this position to perform, it’s very fun and I hope it opens doorways for other female soloists to perform in the future.”
AleXa Will Continue Performances In Miami Throughout December
After a showstopping Dallas debut, AleXa will head to Miami for her second Jingle Ball performance on December 16. The AAA venue will be packed with fans eager to see the Korean-American star’s high-tech performances.
She will open with her breakout hit “Revolution,” the fan-favorite single from her 2020 debut album. Combining catchy pop hooks with hard-hitting dance beats, the song showcases AleXa’s powerful vocals as she sings of starting a revolution powered by music.
Other standouts from AleXa’s set will include 2022’s “Pretty Savage,” which blended punchy rap verses with a pop chorus. She also performed her history-making track “Wonderland,” which won NBC’s American Song Contest back in May.
